A lot has changed.
London after 19 years. A new podcast - The Brave Man Project. And a Substack reborn: Highly Successful. Yet Present To None.
This Substack has its own life. An intelligence. A message that wants to be heard.
I was the successful photographer. Good clients, well liked, holding it together.
Underneath: pretence, lies, alcohol.Pride and shame masked the real truth. I was terrified. Not good enough. Every day, I waited for my life to fall apart.
A moment of clarity. I asked for help. Two days before it would have.
Everything changed. I could breathe.
This substack is for the man who’s stuck. Who’s losing his will, and maybe his family.
It’s also for that family - the wife, the children - who can see him disappearing but can’t reach him.
Fear is not the end. You can change.

I’m the curator. I hold the microphone and the space.
Man to man. Men tell stories of loss, hurt, shame, grief and heart attacks - and how they got through. Their stories work as mirrors. You see your own life in their past. And you know you can change too.
